You’d be surprised at the difference a fresh coat of paint makes to any property, transforming it from tired to neat, tidy and rejuvenated in just a matter of days.
On average, rental properties should be repainted about once every 10 years, giving the interior walls a new lease on life.
As a tip, opt for colours that create a light and neutral backdrop.
This helps the rental feel appealing to a greater variety of renters and also allows them to put their own stamp on the property with their furniture and soft furnishings.
Refresh the fixtures and fittings
If there’s one thing that really dates a property it’s the fixtures and fittings. And by that we mean things like light fittings, door handles, and tapware.
